Guesthouse Groeninghe in the centre of Bruges

Comfortable and well-situated stay in a beautiful home with lots of charm. Positive: The property is beautifully presented, it has a lot of charm and character without feeling dated. The location is excellent it a 5-10 min walk from the heart of Bruges and is also very close to some nice restaurants and cafes as well as a small supermarket. Negative: It’s very hard to find something not to like but if I had to pick two minor things: 1) The living room could use slightly more comfy seats. 2) The very top upstairs room was also quite hot (but fans were provided).

Home away from home. Fantastic location with great amenities. Would stay here again. Positive: Property was in a fantastic location. Clean and comfortable. Felt like a home away from home. Negative: Nothing I strongly disliked. Living room furniture felt a little dated, the stairs up to the second bedroom are incredibly steep, manageable for us but can see this being an issue for some guests.

Positive: Authentisches Haus, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit guter Lage. Für den Einkauf Bäckerei, Metzgerei und Gemüseladen 300m entfernt. Die steile Treppe gibt dem Ganzen ein besonderes Flair.

We had a fantastic stay. The flat is beautiful, with stylish furnishings and lovely décor. It feels cozy yet surprisingly spacious. The linens are high quality, and the beds are extremely comfortable. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed. Maria and Rik were wonderful hosts—friendly, responsive, and always happy to offer helpful suggestions. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed.
